You have Mesa's r300_dri.so too?
Err, no, just r200_dri.so and radeon_dri.so
I've updated mesa-lib* from rawhide and restarted X
(II) AIGLX: Loaded and initialized /usr/lib64/dri/r300_dri.so
(II) GLX: Initialized DRI GL provider for screen 0
fglrxinfo gives
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Tungsten Graphics, Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI R300 20040924 TCL
OpenGL version string: 1.3 Mesa 6.5
Looks like everything is happily loading :-)
If I run any GL program it isn't so happy, e.g.
/usr/libexec/xscreensaver/juggler3d
drmRadeonCmdBuffer: -22 (exiting)
dmesg shows
[drm:r300_emit_3d_load_vbpntr] *ERROR* Offset failed range check (k=0
i=2) while processing 3D_LOAD_VBPNTR packet.
[drm:r300_emit_packet3] *ERROR* r300_emit_raw_packet3 failed
[drm:r300_do_cp_cmdbuf] *ERROR* r300_emit_packet3 failed
I guess now it *is* time to hit bugzilla?
Are there any "gentler" openGL tests I can try (I don't seem to have
glxgears apart from fgl_glxgears which fails due to using private
extensions)
