Whats wrong with doing something with the framebuffer (like this) before
we do the hibernate:

fbi -a -1 --noedit -d /dev/fb0 -vt
7 /usr/share/backgrounds/images/default.png --noverbose

in pm-hibernate or something. Doing this makes my X not come back after
suspending, but I may be being a moron.
