The first step is to reboot onto a "normal" kernel and see if the same thing happens. If it does, there's a problem in the base kernel or some app. If it does not recur, then we start removing patches from the lspp kernel and see which one is guilty. The lspp kernel is a test kernel that has audit and lspp patches that are being tested prior to sending to the -mm tree.
