system-config-display --reconfig
assigned the radeon driver - so far so good, but described
it as the "vendor supplied driver" for radeon (?). The list
also showed the ati driver, which was also described as for
radeon.
In any event, for either the ati or radeon driver,
system-config-display only showed 640x480 and 800x600.
And, the i810 driver description does not show i945G ( I
have another box with an i945 ).
So it looks like the hardware is correctly detected, but
system-config-display may need some tune up.
