ah, x86-64. I'll bet you have an ATI chipset too ?
I'm chasing that bug right now.  I'll bet booting with pci=noacpi makes
it boot for you (though on the system I'm using to test with, that makes
it boot, but the network card is useless).

If it's the same bug, rest assured, I'm on it..
