Hi,
I adopt bc and SFML [3] to avoid one mass removing of packages some

Recently an user , ask me to consider "Consider switching gnub-bc to
howard-bc" [1] and [2] and change from gcc to clang .
Anyone can me advice what to do ? I don't have much time and I'd like
focus on other packages
Moving from one bc to another isn't as easy as the requester may think. There are a lot of sysadmin scripts which use bc in all kinds of places and if they are using the math additions, it can break anything from a school computer accounting system (*cough*) to other things. I would say that the person should look at packaging up the other bc as an alternative but stay with what is there for basic installs. [And I can be added as a comaintainer if that would help you.]
