Hello, I have released libxc 7.0.0 yesterday, and will update libxc in a side tag of rawhide. Although there are some ABI changes, the API is the same as in version 6.2.2. According to repoquery, the following packages are affected $ sudo repoquery --whatrequires "libxc.so.12()(64bit)" [sudo] password for susi: Last metadata expiration check: 0:24:30 ago on Fri 11 Oct 2024 11:37:20 AM UTC. cp2k-0:2024.1-5.fc40.x86_64 cp2k-mpich-0:2024.1-5.fc40.x86_64 cp2k-openmpi-0:2024.1-5.fc40.x86_64 elk-0:9.2.12-1.fc40.x86_64 elk-mpich-0:9.2.12-1.fc40.x86_64 elk-openmpi-0:9.2.12-1.fc40.x86_64 libxc-devel-0:6.2.2-5.fc40.x86_64 nwchem-mpich-0:7.2.2-4.fc40.x86_64 nwchem-mpich-0:7.2.3-1.fc40.x86_64 nwchem-openmpi-0:7.2.2-4.fc40.x86_64 nwchem-openmpi-0:7.2.3-1.fc40.x86_64 psi4-1:1.3.2-22.fc40.x86_64 python3-gpaw-0:24.1.0-1.fc40.x86_64 python3-gpaw-mpich-0:24.1.0-1.fc40.x86_64 python3-gpaw-openmpi-0:24.1.0-1.fc40.x86_64 python3-pyscf-0:2.4.0-3.fc40.x86_64 python3-pyscf-0:2.7.0-1.fc40.x86_64 votca-libs-0:2024-2.fc40.x86_64 votca-libs-0:2024.1-1.fc40.x86_64 libxc, psi4 and python-pyscf are my own packages, and they build without issue. The other packages should also build without hiccups. As a big improvement, this version of Libxc will fix a long-standing issue with GPAW (BZ#2140559). Once the rebuilds are complete, I will push the updates to rawhide.
