X11 DDX was remove because, IIRC someone 10 years ago claim that nobody use it. i.e. As far as I understand the propose of dropping X11 DDX it was because we have replacement and nobody use it for years etc, so it was approved. I think if we readd the code, we don't have reason to not work and is just revert this commit [1] . If we need it for nvidia 340xx legacy drive.
