Now, this is not strictly true. Nothing depends on python-case at runtime, but it is a BuildRequires for four packages. However, all of these are obsolete/spurious manual BR’s, and should simply be removed. I proposed PR’s to do that in all four packages:

     - https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-billiard/pull-request/7

     - https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-celery/pull-request/5

     - https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-hpilo/pull-request/1

     - https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-vine/pull-request/5

This email is just a heads-up to those packages’ maintainers, and a general notice that I think it’s best to allow python-case to pass into retirement – and particularly, that these obsolete BuildRequires should not be a reason to continue maintaining it.

thank you for proposing the patches! I orphaned python-case, and could not find a depending package. However, I obviously failed to discover the build-time dependencies.
