Oops, I forgot to mention that the log message clearly indicates that
the transfer mode is -asynchronous- whereas it used to be synchronous
for 2.6.x kernels (x < 13) thus cutting down the transfer speed by a
factor of 2. It seems to have to do with an alleged "Domain Validation
Failure". I would be surprised if I were the only Fedora user experiencing
this problem.
