Hi

Does anybody have any objections to doing this? If not, what is the best
thing for me to do - file a single bug and just CC the maintainers of any
affected packages I can think of?

The best way to tackle  this is to file  independant bug report for each of these bugs against the appropriate component in http://bugzilla.redhat.com. It would probably be useful to post a list of the bugzilla numbers for future reference.
