There is this fork: https://github.com/berghetti/pkpgcounter-1 that at least 
claims to support Python 3. (It is a fork of the lynxis/pkpgcounter fork 
that adds Python 3 support, but the lynxis fork was abandoned and there is 
at least one showstopper bug that is not fixed there, as can be seen in the 
issues. That bug is fixed in the berghetti fork, at least I see the change 
that should fix the bug in the code changes in the commit history. Note that 
I have NOT tested any of the versions.)
