Exactly - its just the boot.iso/netinst image that is switching
directly from X11 to Wayland.

For all the Live image spins, Anaconda still runs like a regular GTK3
application - if the spin uses X11, Anaconda (or rathher GTK I guess ?)
will run as an X11 application. If the spin uses Wayland, then I guess
it will run as native Wayland client if possible.

To only change that could impact spins is that we would ideally like to
drop the X11-only libXklavier library we have used for keaboard
handling so far and replace it with the universal localed keyboard
handling API. IIRC Jiri Konecny already notified all spin owners and
started some discussions about this.

In an ideal case all the spins add support for the localed API & we can
drop libXklvaier. If this turns out to not be possible in the given
time frame, we have some workaround available (using a keyboard
handling helper script or keeping libXklavier in a limited role).
