Well the entire metrics system is open source, so I'd encourage interested developers to study how it works. The database is just not structured to associate unrelated data points together. We are not interested in doing that.
There are some things we need to fix before deployment, though. E.g. There is currently an exception for malformed events. I'm not sure how exactly we'll decide to handle those. Presumably these would indicate software bugs, and we can't fix them if we don't collect them. But they'll surely contain a bunch of different data points collected together. We might possibly want to just keep a count of malformed events instead.
