I don't particularly care about how the functionality gets activated; in my case it's not something that would need to come in though the kickstart file. However, I could see situations where it would be useful to have that specified in the kickstart file, such as a hypothetical deployment system. It might, for example, want to direct anaconda to send the display to an appropriate place that could be proxied or recorded. That location might be complicated or variable and not necessarily something that could be baked into the boot media or typed in at boot time. - J< -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
