Right, if there's no technical reason not to backport it, you absolutely should. You should ALSO make sure to file a Change Proposal to make sure that people know it's coming to Fedora 41, if only for the marketing benefit. For example, I submit a Change every year for new Node.js major versions (the latest of which becomes the default in the next release), but I also always make the parallel-installable version available on the prior releases. They just don't own the default locations (/usr/bin/node et. al.). -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
