Maintaining erlang-xmpp

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Greetings,

packages related to ejabberd have started falling out from Fedora around version 36. That didn't stop me from using ejabberd, so every Fedora release I'm repackaging them. I think it's silly not to share the result of that work with the rest of Fedora.

I'm not a Fedora packager, so I'm following the guides and putting forward my offer to maintain those packages, starting with erlang-xmpp:

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/erlang-xmpp/pull-request/2

(this depends on erlang-stringprep, the fix to which I have not bothered to push anywhere, based on the interest to the above).

I guess I need the packager status to do anything, so can I have the packager status plz? I'm not sure whether the guide says that here is where I can find a sponsor, or whether I should looke elsewhere... but anyway thanks for reading my offer.
