I happily use rpmautospec for the Go and Rust libraries I maintain that are simple, mostly autogenerated packages, but I otherwise prefer using manual changelogs. They allow me more control over the changelog and maintain the separation between the developer commit log and the user- facing changelog that I keep for the rest of my projects. I understand the merits of rpmautospec, but I would very much not like to be forced to use it for all my packages. -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
