I assume rawhide has been fixed, too? So that rawhide users also just need to follow the same instructions as F40? Or do they need to reinstall?
Yes. The downgrade was pushed out on friday along with the f40 one.

If possible, I would like to end the topic updates in Fedora Discussion tomorrow and suggest users that they can consider the issue solved once they conducted all suggested steps and thus stop following the topic anylonger, but for rawhide I still have the warning issued to not use it at this time. Is the rawhide issue still open?
No, it should have the same resolution as f40.
