in reply to self it seems that the problem is related with some automount on fstab-sync/hotplug (?) that nautilus/gnome tries to override. in fstab i've got: /dev/sdc1 /media/usbdisk4 ext3 pamconsole,exec,noauto,managed 0 0 /dev/sdc2 /media/usbdisk5 ext3 pamconsole,exec,noauto,managed 0 0 but when I try to access the drive on nautilus, i've got this message: mount: /dev/sdc2 already
