One of the members of Fedora KDE has the same graphics card and daily drives Plasma Wayland with the proprietary drivers. GTX 16, RTX 20, RTX 30, and RTX 40 series GPUs will hopefully work much better out of the box starting with tonight's compose since we will have the new nouveau driver stack fully enabled for those cards. Sadly, that doesn't help folks with older GPUs (like my GTX 960 or your GTX 1080), but it'll still be an improvement overall. -- 真実はいつも一つ!/ Always, there's only one truth! -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
