I see you threw away all of the patches.  I think you're going to find
that you need most of them.  In particular, you discarded the patch to
use flexiblas.  The error you are getting indicates that sagemath did
not find a usable blas implementation.

Updating the sagemath package to a new version is a pretty involved
process.  It would take me hours every time a new version came out to
update it, one reason why I ultimately decided to stop doing it.
