BTW repositories managementcreaterepo-c needs libxml 2.12.x adjustment as well.
It is already integrated in createrepo-c git repo.

API has changed slightly not only because <libxml/global.h> has been removed but in the same cases it needs some minor adjustments because of some const declarations (look on libvirt-glib today commited changes by maintainer).

Nevertheless, just FTR: ABI has not changed.
