FreeCAD is a known issue since the upgrade to Python 3.12. PySide2 is not compatible with Python 3.12 and upstream has no intention of making it compatible as they are only supporting PySide6 for Qt6 now. There's also a TBB dependency issue.

For now it would be better to use the appimage.
