Hi,

libtomcrypt

So this is the dependency chain:

libtomcrypt <= python3-crypto <= python3-beaker <= python3-mako

Where python3-mako is require by rhythmbox, which is understandably part of the basic installation. But is the rest really needed? Looking at the dependency:

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-mako/blob/rawhide/f/python-mako.spec#_33-34

it says: "# Beaker is the preferred caching backend, but is not strictly necessary" so is it actually needed by Rhythmbox or not?

And if the answer is yes, is the python3-crypto needed? Or the libtomcrypt?

I think we should consider what is pulled in into installation images and on the default system and it seems to me that this dependency chain should be broken somewhere.

Vít
