I am going to ask because I am curious. Is systemd a good resolving server? I normally don't run servers but I find this thread interesting. Everyone seems to want to shutdown systemd-resolver and go to network manager. At least that's how I have been interpreting this.
It's not everyone. There have only been a few on the mailing lists and usually it seems to be people trying to do unusual things. The vast majority of people (running Fedora at least) are using it and most probably don't even know it. I find it particularly useful because I have a need for split-DNS on one system, but it's also not causing me any problems on all the others.
