This was part of Spacewalk project https://github.com/spacewalkproject/spacewalk/wiki/Projects_python-gzipstream This project is now archived and not maintained. However, it continues as Yyuni https://www.uyuni-project.org/ Not sure if this library is still used there. If you take it then you have to solve FTBS https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2152664 which is likely trivial.
