soname bump (Rawhide): libtraceevent libtracefs kernelshark

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I'm updating libtraceevent, libtracefs to newer versions and rebuilding the dependencies libtracecmd, trace-cmd, kernelshark. This caused soname bump as the following

libtraceevent.so to 1.6.3
libtracefs.so to 1.5.0

And also the following from kernelshark, although they are expected not to be used by any existing packages.
libkshark.so to 2.1.1
libkshark-gui.so to 2.1.1
libkshark-plot.so to 2.1.1

IMO this will possible affect perf and rtla (IIRC both in kernel-tools).

The changes will be done today in a side tag f38-build-side-59311 and I plan to merge it on around 9 PM Friday evening (Oct 14th) UTC+8.
