Does this not build against libusb-compat-0.1-devel? (That has been the 
replacement for the old libusb-devel 0.1 for ages, and it is still in 
Fedora.)

Unless this actually wants libusb 1 (some versions also known as libusbx), 
then it should BuildRequire libusb1-devel instead.

That said, I am NOT interested in picking up this package, just pointing out 
how whoever wants to maintain it can probably fix it.
