Honestly, I'm bad at profiling, so I'm not the best person to answer
this. :/
I can point you to documentation for sysprof:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/sysprof#debugging-symbols
which says that every library should be built with
-fno-omit-frame-pointer.
