help needed on AskFedora: OpenSSLv3 error when connecting to Eduroam

Hi folks,

Could someone with sufficient OpenSSL knowledge please take a look at
this post?

I'd managed to debug another one related to Eduroam and come up with a
workaround, but this is a new one that I'm not going to be able to
figure out any time soon:
