And my answer is (from the PR): If everything were built against ffmpeg-free-devel, then it might work better as the build process of other dependent packages wouldn't pull ffmpeg-libs from RPM Fusion at all and wouldn't suffer from desync. We could rename ffmpeg-free-devel to ffmpeg-devel or add Provides: to make the transition seamless. This is what is done for qt5-qtwebengine/qt5-qtwebengine-freeworld.
