Hi,

apparently some broken packages have landed in rawhide:

DEBUG util.py:444: Error:
DEBUG util.py:444: Problem: conflicting requests
DEBUG util.py:444: - nothing provides mpich-devel(x86-64) = 3.4.1 needed

DEBUG util.py:446: (try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable
packages)

AFAIU, somebody has pushed an incompatible upgraded for mpich and forgotten
to take care about its dependency.

That someone would be me. But I wasn't aware that petsc binds
to an exact version of mpich. I see this was added by Antonio last year.
Antonio, why is this necessary? Isn't the so-version enough?

Zbyszek
This was added on my request as PETSc ensures that the MPI version is
exactly the same - and without the requires it fails at run time, rather
than at install time.

It is probably fine to patch out the check, but no one really knows ...

OK. I started rebuilds of petsc now.

Did you actually launch a build for rawhide?

I see your changes in git, but can't spot a build rawhide for in koji and petsc in rawhide is still broken.
