Oh I did see those links, I do understand I do have to ask existing maintainers if they need help. But I'm not really aiming to help maintain a specific package (I don't really mind which), is there a place where maintainers look for co-maintainers? I don't really wanna go through the 30 000 packages one by one XD

According to this ^^^, just ask the existing maintainers of a package you'd like to be involved with if they want help.
