Thanks. I am afraid @nim is not going to respond.

In case you won't use nonresponsive maintainer policy,
the FTBFS policy says the packages will be orphaned and retired, so I assume in
the spirit of the policy, I can just reassign the package to you when the time
comes.

Sure no problem to assign me that package later on. I just don't want to maintain all the packages that @nim owns. 

I now also submitted https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/sil-charis-fonts/pull-request/1 and am sure Kevin will merge it.
