Actually sorry you asked a specific question about IoT and I went off on a larger tangent. The simple answer is: everything in the (rpm-)ostree stack that works today that IoT uses will continue to work and be maintained for quite some time to come. >From the build side to the client side. We're *adding* the ability client side to pull container images, not also *removing* the ability to fetch via native ostree. All that is still tested on every single pull request. In particular, the very network-efficient ostree deltas on the wire. But, longer term as part of this I plan to pour my efforts into helping the container stack with deltas, etc. _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
