I'm using db2html to build the gutenprint docs. But:

/usr/bin/db2html gutenprint.xml
output is gutenprint
Using catalogs: /etc/sgml/xml-docbook-4.2-1.0-27.cat

This catalog gives the correct path for the PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD
DocBook XML V4.2//EN" DTD.

Using stylesheet: /usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6.14/docbook-utils.dsl#html Working on: /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/print/doc/developer/gutenprint.xml jade:/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/print/doc/developer/gutenprint.xml:13:0:E: cannot open "/usr/share/sgml/docbook/dtd/xml/4.2/docbookx.dtd" (No such file or directory)

Unfortunately gutenprint.xml uses a hard-coded path, which is not
guaranteed to work on anyone's system except the author's. The
!DOCTYPE at the top of the document should not use SYSTEM
"/usr/share/sgml/..." but the PUBLIC ID above.

Thanks for the quick response. I just deleted the hard-coded path from gutenprint.xml and it built.

I've sent a note to the devel list.
