To increase the version, I added the letter b to the release version (the full name turned out to be rpm-4.16.90-0.git15395.8b.fc35.src.rpm). Strangely, the host system considered this change significant and installed my version, but in the mock container this change was ignored and the usual version of rpm-build was installed. # dnf info rpm-build Last metadata expiration check: 0:08:19 ago on Wed 19 May 2021 02:23:04 AM +05.
