osgi-core update to 8.0.0 in Fedora rawhide

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

Next week I'm going to update package osgi-core in Fedora rawhide from
version 7.0.0 to version 8.0.0.

The proposed update contains an API change that can affect packages
depending on osgi-core. You may need to rebuild your packages to keep
working with updated osgi-core.

The update has already been checked into dist-git and a Koji build has
already been done, but Bodhi update has not been submitted yet. Bodhi
update is expected after a week, to comply with Updates Policy that
mandates a notification one week in advance before submitting an API
changing update.

  Current NVR in rawhide: osgi-core-7.0.0-6.fc34
  Updated NVR: osgi-core-8.0.0-2.fc35
  Build link: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1748429

Packages depending on osgi-core that are possibly affected by this update:
 * aqute-bnd, maintained by mizdebsk
 * geronimo-osgi-support, maintained by orphan mizdebsk
 * jackson-modules-base, maintained by edewata jmagne cipherboy
 * maven-plugin-bundle, maintained by mizdebsk
 * openas2, maintained by sdgathman
