Haxe does not directly consume ocaml-ppx-tools-versioned. It has several transitive BuildRequires, formerly needed due to the ocaml-sedlex dependency, which can now be omitted, namely: BuildRequires: ocaml-migrate-parsetree-devel BuildRequires: ocaml-ppx-derivers-devel BuildRequires: ocaml-ppx-tools-versioned-devel Those should be removed. However, after doing that I ran into an incompatibility with the version of ocaml-extlib currently in Rawhide. Andy seems to be aware of this: https://github.com/HaxeFoundation/haxe/pull/10086 Once that is fixed, haxe should build in Rawhide again. Also, Andy, I'd like to point out that ocaml-luv is now available in Fedora, so it should be possible to update to haxe 4.2.x.
