  Quoting from Tadej's email to cloud@ list;

#v+

$ cat /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/99-cloud-init.conf
# Created by cloud-init on instance boot automatically, do not edit.
#
[main]
dns = none

#v-

  So cloud-init at least tries to configure NM. This configuration
would be passed down to resolved. But "dns = none" seems wrong.
