They focus on Jitsi Meet.. the last stable jitsi desktop build was 2017  and the last one, has prebuild windows versions only. The Downloadsection focuses on Jitsi Meet, which is just a video conference tool, not a messanger app anymore.

The last two commits have a pause of 6 months between them. It looks to me as if Ingo tries to hold up the flag or it's just updates to part, they recycled in Meet Jitsi.

The problem is that Jitsi is XMPP-based and it looks like XMPP days
are numbered.
I disagree here.
