Announcing the Pantheon SIG

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Good day everybody,

With ever-increasing interest in running the Pantheon DE on fedora, we
decided to create a SIG for Pantheon!

There's the obligatory Wiki page:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SIGs/Pantheon

We have created a dedicated IRC channel: #fedora-pantheon

There's also tracking project on pagure:
https://pagure.io/pantheon-fedora/pantheon-sig

And the pantheon-fedora namespace on pagure for
Pantheon-on-Fedora-related projects:
https://pagure.io/group/pantheon-fedora

Reminder that there's also kinda-supported COPR builds for staging
updates and nightly "CI" builds (giving you a preview of what's coming
with elementary OS 6!):
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/decathorpe/elementary-staging/
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/decathorpe/elementary-nightly/

If there is enough interest (and more people willing to help with
packaging and testing), we will request a FAS group for the SIG and an
official mailing list as well.

A goal for the future would be a Pantheon Spin of Fedora, but there's
still some missing pieces before that can happen, and we need your
help (yes, I'm talking to *you*)!

Thanks to Christopher "amz" for getting the ball rolling wrt. launching the SIG.

Fabio
