We should have always had it named "rawhide". I'm not in favor of changing it to "main", because if we're interested in changing it, we should take the opportunity to use a better name... one that is meaningful to us... rather than just accept a new default naming convention that doesn't mean anything to us. "rawhide" has a special meaning in Fedora, but "main" doesn't.
