But when I was doing some experiments a few months back I discovered that using the Bcj armthumb compression reduced the size of the squashfs image by about 400k -- I assumed it was because a bunch of the firmware is actually arm assembly but didn't look any deeper. So if it's possible to apply arch-specific compression to them it may reduce things slightly. Brian -- Brian C.
