Zstd is faster than xz at de-compression, but a much larger speed improvement
would be to parallelize and pipeline "rpm --install". This would benefit
both install and the creation of 'mock' build environments.
Yes, but that's not what this enhancement is about. Also it would have no effect on Live image installation. Let's not distract this discussion with independent topics, rather let's discuss this particular proposal.
