Thanks to god they didn't spam to mailing list directly. > I was told to just mark comments as spam and by "magic" those accounts > will get banned. > Thing is, new accounts get created and just keep on posting spam. If tons of spam accounts are getting created continuously, then I think locking bugs won't help. IMHO the only way that will help is ask RedHat to set a more strict anti-spam procedure when creating new accounts. > The bug I linked had over 140 spam comments up until now, and like > you, I tried to mark them as spam and remove the spammer's email > addresses from the CC list, but to no avail. Why the bots stick to several bugs rather than spamming randomly on every bugs? Just by design or something in those bugs triggered those bots? > > Fabio > _______________________________________________ > devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ > List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines > List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
