That's not really the point. The point is that yet again more or less fictional future users needs comes before the needs of current actual users. As time goes by it seems the list of configuration changes needed to make a system usable (subjectively yes) grows. What was default was changed and since doing it the easy way only annoyed current users the easy way was chosen. I'm getting tired of this but I guess it's time to accept that I'm just one of those grumpy old neckbeard now.
