  GRUB2 btrfs support tend to lag a bit.  User would need to be careful
not to enable some btrfs features before GRUB2 supports them.

  When going with btrfs /boot, you can forego separate partition and
just make a /boot subvolume in main pool.

Advantage: fewer partitions.

Disadvantages: using encryption is harder. GRUB2 supports only LUKS1
encryption (AFAIK). Obviously, there is not plymouth integration, so the
password would have to be entered at least twice.
When not using encryption above is not a problem.
