It can use transient build dependencies (a package is built, only used as a build dependency of a consquitive package, and then dropped and never shipped). It can build and deliver a package against multiple exclusive dependencies (e.g. for different Fedora releases). It can build a package from dist-git sources that do not depend on a Fedora release. (Teoretically you can build a module from non-RPM components; I've never tried it.) -- Petr
